Abstract (EN)

Blended Learning model is created to fill the gap of human interaction faced in online courses. The aim of this model is to increase the quality of learning by combining the best parts of the traditional and online learning. Many universities use the blended model for their course offerings. It can be considered important to offer the blended learning courses in our universities. The aim of this study was to evaluation of applicability of blended learning model in an Instructional Technologies and Material Design Course. The course designed in blended model and tested iin a spring semester for 15 weeks. The study group consist of 54 students in their second year of the study at Gaziantep University, Faculty of Education in the Primary School Teacher Training department in 2012-2013 academic year. Qualitative and quantitative data gathering methods used to gather and analyze the data. Student's views, satisfaction and attitudes to the Internet and computer was examined. The results of the study showed that students liked and accepted the blended learning model. The study also showed that there is a relation between blended learning and attitude towards Internet but there is no relation between blended learning and attitude towards computer. Besides using blogs affected students'learning positively. The students used e-mail and Facebook as a communication tool. The students showed their satisfaction for using Facebook as a communicaton tool.
