The relationship between the psychological well-being and interection anxiety scale on teacher candidates

The aim of the research is to examine the interaction anxiety levels and psychological well-being levels of the teacher candidates and to determine the relationship between them. The research is designed with relational scanning and causal-comparison model. The sample of the study consists of 232 teacher candidates selected by sampling method among the students of Bursa Uludag University Faculty of Education. In the process of data collecting; the Psychological Well-Being Scale of 84 points and the 15-point Interaction Anxiety Scale were used. The analysis of the data was carried out using SPSS 25, Kolmogorov Smirnov test and Whitney-U test. According to the results of the research, gender, age, psychological support and low income of the family allowed us to find meaningful differences in teacher candidates as examined. As a result, there is a significant, negative and weak relationship between the interaction anxiety levels of teacher candidates and their psychological well-being levels. As the interaction anxiety levels of teacher candidates increase, their psychological well-being levels decrease. Similarly, there is a significant, negative and weak relationship between the interaction anxiety levels of teacher candidates and their psychological well-being, levels of positive relationships between self-acceptance, levels of environmental dominance, levels of autonomy, levels of life goals and levels of individual development.
