Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to examine the life satisfaction perceptions of teachers working in Hakkari province and its affiliated districts based on their demographic characteristics. A descriptive survey model was employed in the research. The sample consists of 361 teachers who participated in data collection among a total of 4,672 teachers working in public and private schools in Hakkari province and its districts during the 2024–2025 academic year. After excluding incomplete or invalid responses, the analyses were conducted using data obtained from 342 teachers. The 'Life Satisfaction Scale' was used for data collection. The research findings revealed that teachers' levels of life satisfaction differed significantly based on gender, with the difference favoring female teachers. A significant difference was also observed in terms of educational level, with results favoring teachers who hold postgraduate degrees. On the other hand, no significant differences were found with respect to marital status, school level, years of working with the school principal, or the number of teachers at the school. Key Words: Teacher, Life Satisfaction, Well-Being.
