Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, home visit in school-parent communication (Avcılar application) is evaluated. Fulfilling necessities of the period and being among developed countries is directly bound to effectiveness and productivity of countries education systems. Education activities applied by schools are communication process at the same time. Communication between school and its circumferences, especially student?s parents, is very important. Tendency of improving the communication with parents, to increase this effectiveness of school, is a try of renovation. For this reason, information gathered from this application is needed to be shown in a scientific frame. Basic mass of this research, which has carried out by content analysis method, is observation reports of home visit application performed by Avcılar Anatolian Technical High School, Anatolian Trade High School, Technical High School and Trade High School. In 2005- 2006 instruction year 119 interview reports have been collected. Frequency and percentage techniques are used in analysis gathered from the interview reports.
