Abstract (EN)

Babies and children are biologically predisposed to form interpersonal bonds with others and to seek closeness to their caregivers, their parents, to gain the comfort of a safe base from which they can safely explore the world. At this point, the family is the first point of contact that connects the child to his environment. In the family environment, the child acquires the first attitudes towards the world, develops mentally and physically, learns how to communicate, acquires basic norms and eventually forms his own attitudes, morals and behaviors. Mothers have a critical role at this point. In addition to children's attachment to their mothers, their mothers' sense of attachment to them is of utmost importance. For this reason, in the literature, the mother's sense of attachment is examined at least as carefully as the children's sense of attachment to their mothers and their families and their environment in general. Although children's approaches to attachment are of great importance, careful evaluation of children's anxiety and anxiety levels on this issue is also extremely critical. For this reason, it is important to examine the concept of anxiety and its reflections on children. The main purpose of this study is to examine the potential relationships between anxiety levels in preschool children (children aged 3-5) and their mothers' attachment styles. The focus of the research is to determine which types of attachment styles mothers have been associated with which anxiety dimensions in children and at what level these relationships are. In this context, answers are sought to questions such as how factors affecting children's anxiety levels may interact with mothers' attachment styles and which attachment styles are more dominant in these relationships.
