Relationship between pre-school teachers' burnout levels and teacher's classroom management skills

This study aimed to determine the levels of burnout and classroom management skills of preschool teachers. The study was realized with pre-school teachers who are working in the official and private preschool institutions of the Ministry of National Education in the township of Küçükçekmece in the province of Istanbul in 2017-2018 academic year. The district with the highest number of preschool teachers was identified as Küçükçekmece by the MEB statistical data. Sampling method is used easily. Those who are willing to participate in the survey and who are able people to reach it are included in the research. Descriptive scanning model was used in the study; "Burnout Scale" and "Classroom Management Skill Level Scale". The data obtained were analyzed using the IBM SPSS Statistics package program. It has been determined that the data do not show a normal distribution. Frequency, arithmetic mean and Kruskal Wallis H test were used in the analyzes. Sperman Brown correlation analysis was performed for the relationship between "burnout" and "classroom management" levels of preschool teachers. According to the results of the research; the burnout levels of pre-school teachers were found to be at the "no burnout status" level. It has been observed that the level of classroom management skills of preschool teachers is "always". There was no significant difference in the burnout levels of preschool teachers according to the age, seniority and educational status variables. There was no significant difference in the classroom management skill levels of preschool teachers according to age, seniority and educational status variables. It has been found that there is a significant and statistically significant relationship between the burnout level and the classroom management skill levels of the pre-school teachers on the negative side.
