Abstract (EN)

This research aimed to determine the role of cultural leadership of school administrators on organisational synergy in schools. The research was designed according to correctional desing. The population of the research consists of teachers in Uşak in the 2024-2025 academic year. The research sample is 365 teachers selected through convenience sampling. The data were collected by using "Cultural Leadership Scale" and "Organisational Synergy for Teachers Scale". According to the results obtained, teachers' perceptions of school administrators' cultural leadership levels are high. Teachers' perceptions of school administrators' cultural leadership differ according to the variables of the number of teachers working in the school and school level. Teachers' perceptions do not differ according to their gender, working in the school, graduation status, seniority, variables. It was also found in the research that teachers' perceptions of organisational synergy were high. Teachers' perception of organisational synergy differs according to the variables of school level, number of teachers in the school and seniority. The variables of gender, working time in the same school and graduation status did not make a difference on teachers' perceptions of organisational synergy. In this study, significant, positively oriented, moderate-level relationships were determined between teachers' perceptions of school administrators' cultural leadership and their perceptions of organisational synergy. According to the research, school administrators' cultural leadership levels predict teachers' perceptions of organisational synergy. As the cultural leadership levels of school administrators increase, the level of teachers' perceptions of organisational synergy increases. In this context, increasing in-service training programmes aimed at developing school administrators' cultural leadership skills and supporting practical work in this direction will be an important step towards strengthening organisational synergy in schools.
