Workplace safety climate in schools

In this study;it is aimed to determine perception level of security climate of teacher who work at schools depending on Ministry of Education in Ardeşen-Rize Universe of cross sectional descriptive research is composed of teachers work at schools depending on Ministry of Education in Ardeşen-Rize İn this study; no sampling was taken and it is aimed to reach all the univrse.On the date When study was done ,406 of 500 teachers were reached (participation rate 81.2) Dates were taken with questionaire by researcher , it contains sacio demographic data form, questions about working conditions of teachers and scale of secuvity climate . Analysis of abtained data was done with frequency , stam dart deviation and descriptive statis ties like percentage. In the situations that normal distribution is obtained , t test and one way variance were used on evaluating affets of working conditions of teacher and socio demographic in formation on perception level of securrity climate. In the situation that normal distribution is not obtained , in non parametric tests , Kruskal Wallis and Mun witney U tests were used. Spearmen correlation analysis was used on the relation of paint of scale of security climate numerical variables While perception scale of security climate with women teacher partici pants are remankably higher than men teacher partici pants ( p < 0,05) , no relation ship between socio demographic variables and security climate was observed. Teachers who are adminis trator and work at high school have less perception scale of secvrity climate compared to other teachers A teacher's studying acuppational healthame safety education is the most impot tant factor to have less perception scale of security climate. Besides , Teachers who are happy at work have less perception scale of security climate.
