The effect of organizational culture to the educational risk perception

The aim of this research is to determine the organizational culture and educational risk perceptions of the teachers who work in primary, secondary and high schools and is to determine whether the relationship between educational culture and risk perceptions differ according to different demographic variables. This research is a descriptive study designed according to relational survey model. The population of the study consisted of 4112 teachers working at primary, secondary and high schools in Kastamonu province and its towns in the academic year of 2016-2017. In the sample of the research there were 386 female teachers and 306 male teachers. In order to gather data for the study, Personal Information Form, Organizational Culture Scale and Teachers' Educational Risk Scale were used. The data obtained in the study were analyzed using SPSS packet programme. In the analysis of the data obtained from the participants percentage, arithmetic mean, frequency, One-Way Variance Analysis (ANOVA), LSD Test, t-test, Tamhane Test, Tukey Test, Multiple Lineare Regression Analysis, Pearson Correlation Coefficent Analaysis were used. In the study, the level of significance was accepted as α=,05. According to the research results, it was found that a significance difference between the teacher's branches, years of service in the organization, school types, school level, school position and the sub-scales of Organizational Culture Scale. Futhermore it was found a significance difference between the teachers' genders, ages, branches, school types, years of service, years of service in the organization, school position, school levels and the sub-dimensions of Teachers' Educational Risk Perception Scale.
