The effect of the personality characteristics of the managers in the organization to the success of the organization: An application in the schools in Gaziantep

The main purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the personality characteristics of the managers to the success of the organization. In this scope first of all, personality characteristics that create the technical infrastructure of the study are defined widely by searching literature. By making a questionnaire to the 117 managers and assistant managers in the secondary schools and high schools in Gaziantep, the correlation between personality characteristics of the managers and the success of the organization is analyzed. According to the findings; a positive correlation has been determined between structure factor - one of the personality characteristics that belongsmentality of the managers- and organization success, energy factor - one of the emotion mood personality characteristics- and school success. Also, according to the findings got in the scope of the study, it has been determined that the private schools are more successful and more social than the public schools.
