Abstract (EN)
This study aims to examine the impact of organizational justice perception on job satisfaction of administrative staff working at Van Yüzüncü Yıl University. Universities play a central role in knowledge production, sharing, and contributing to societal development. Administrative staff are a critical component in maintaining the daily operations of universities and meeting the needs of students and academics. In this context, the effective management of administrative staff's work and their contribution to the organization's goals are crucial for the overall success of the organization. Moreover, ensuring justice in organizations and enhancing job satisfaction are factors that positively affect both individual performance and organizational productivity. In this study, a primary data collection method was used by applying a survey to 363 administrative staff members working at Van Yüzüncü Yıl University, and the data were analyzed using SPSS 26.0 software. The obtained data were evaluated using t-tests, one-way analysis of variance, and multiple linear regression analyses. The research findings revealed that organizational justice has a significant effect on job satisfaction. In particular, factors such as procedural justice and interactional justice were observed to play a prominent role in job satisfaction. As a result, it is understood that a fair management approach not only increases employee job satisfaction but also has positive effects on organizational commitment and productivity. The findings indicate that organizational leaders should consider justice as a critical element that supports not only employee satisfaction but also the overall success of the organization. The results of the study highlight the need to strengthen fair management practices in universities and public institutions. In this context, transparency, equitable practices, and fair decision-making processes emerge as fundamental elements for employees' job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Furthermore, the findings of the study contribute to future research that aims to examine the relationship between organizational justice and job satisfaction from a broader perspective, on a sectoral basis. This study provides a significant contribution at the regional level through the data obtained at Van Yüzüncü Yıl University and fills a gap in the literature. Future research may further explore the impact of organizational justice and job satisfaction by conducting similar analyses in different sectors and geographic regions. In particular, the impact of digital technologies on job satisfaction, justice perception, and organizational commitment has not been fully explored. In this regard, future studies are recommended to investigate the effects of artificial intelligence and metaverse technologies on organizational justice and job satisfaction
