Abstract (EN)

Conflict within an organization is the disharmony, disagreement, hostility and the dispute within an individual, within people, group or within groups stemming from the different goal, opinion, culture, expectation, emotion and interest etc. among the workers in an organization; when s/he is faced to something not wanted and is subjected to decide in the social environment that the person is in.Organizational conflicts are more important in hotel organizations. The main reason of this is the indispensability of hiring a great deal of people as the hotels are great labour demanding worksites. In order to keep on, hotel organizations? necessity of hiring a great deal of people brings the different opinion, ideas and the practice with it and that results in conflicts to resolve. Starting from this point, the aim of the study is the analysis of these conflicts in hotel organizations in different aspects and supporting theoretical knowledge with the consequences of the practices. Because of that, at first conflicts are analysed in theoretically in this thesis and after the practice of 4-5 star hotels in Aegean and Mediterannean Region; the types of conflicts that managers and workers are faced to, the resolutions and the relationship with behaviour of quitting the job if not solved have been tried to explained.
