Abstract (EN)
The purpose of this study is to explore the interrelationships of the multiple dimensions of Ethical Climate (Self interest, company profit, efficiency, friendship, team interest, social resonsibility, personal morality, company rules and procedures, laws and professional codes), Organizational Commitment (affective commitment, continuance commitment and normative commitment), Organizational Citizenship Behaviors (Altruism, courtesy, sportsmanship, civic virtue, consciousness) and Person-organization Fit.The sample of the study consisted of people working in furniture industry sector in Kayseri, Turkey. 700 employees were given the questionnaire and 409 people from 9 large-scale enterprises answered and returned it.Some of the conclusions suggested by the results of the analysis are as follows: There are reasonable and statistically significant correlations (p ? 0,001) between variables. The highest correlation relationships among variables are between organizational ethical climate and organizational commitment, and also between the person-organization fit and organizational commitment.Self-Interests climate type, one of the egoist climate types, is negatively correlated with person-organization fit, organizational commitment and organizational citizenship behavior. Productivity, yet another egoistic ethical climate type, has low levels of positive relations with person-organization fit, organizational commitment and organizational citizenship behavior. The highest correlation coefficient among sub-dimensions of variables was found among affective organizational commitment and sub-diemansions of organizational citizenship behavior. Both benevolence ethical climate types (friendship, team interest and social responsibility) and principled ethical climate types (personal morality, company rules and procedures, laws and Professional ethics codes) have relatively and positively high correlation coefficient with person-organization fit. It was also found that there is a relatively weak but positive correlation between person-organization fit and two different types of egoist ethical climate (company interests and efficiency organizational ethical climate types). Finally, under the light of findings, some practical implications of the study for company managers and for the researchers were presented.Key Words:1.
