Nowadays, due to the fewscientific research done it that area it is not clearly identified that to what extentthe houses, which area built to meet the increasing need for housing parallel tothe rapid growth of population, meet the desires and needs of the users. The aimof this study is to determine the effect of inner design and architecture featuresof the main living areas of a mid-quality house on the contentment level of theusers. For that purpose a detailed questionnaire about their living room hasbeen given to the household of forty mid-quality house owners in the centre ofAksaray and 1 / 40-scaled settlement plans of those living rooms have beendrawn and their photos have been taken to determine the characteristics ofthose places.
