Abstract (EN)
It is obvious that effective manager increase the contribution of the employees to the organisation and this can be achieved by using the power properly. Because the power style of the manager effects the efficiency of the employees. It is important to have an effective management that the managers have power for guiding the persons and groups in motivating them to the goals to be achieved. Concept of power is valid at every environment in the human relations at every level of management. The managers have to use their power sources in the most proper way to make them fully functional. The main purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between the power style and style to manage the conflict (perception by teacher) by the managers at the secondary education associations at Bakırköy district at Istanbul During the search; questionnaires has been used and the data obtained by questionnaires has been analysed and commented by frequency analysis, correlation and factor analysis . At the schools where the search has been carried out, it has been found that style of school managers to manage the conflict (perception by the teachers ) and the power style has no relation. As a result it has been found that all teachers joined to this search could not percept the relationship between their managers? power style and style to manage the conflict.
