Abstract (EN)
The purpose of this study is to reveal the evolution of political Islam in the Middle East and its reflections on Turkey's political life on the light of the events that occurred in the Middle East in 1979. During the preparations for this study, it is benefited from qualitative research methods, literature review, books, articles and journals published in domestic and foreign, and the primary sources related to the study were tried to be reached. This thesis consists of 4 chapters. In the first chapter; conceptual framework, in the second chapter; the birth of Islam in the Middle East, the experiences of the Islamic state and the relationship of politics, in the third chapter; developments in Political Islam in the Middle East between 1979-2018 and in the fourth chapter; reflections of political Islam on Turkish political life have been discussed.
