Abstract (EN)

With this research, middle school 7. and 8. it is aimed to examine the relationship between digital game addiction and attachment styles and psychological Deciency levels of classroom students. In the research, the relational screening model, one of the quantitative research methods, was used to examine the existence and degree of the relationship between two or more variables Decently without interfering with the variables. The population of the research consists of 7th and 8th graders living in public schools in Avcılar, Bahçelievler and Esenyurt districts of Istanbul at the end of the 2023-2024 academic year. The research consists of 298 adolescents.. When we look at the literature, we see that these three variables have not been considered together and no study has been conducted to determine the relationship between them. In the findings obtained in the study, it was determined that digital game addiction was higher in males according to demographic variables. It is thought that the reason for the higher digital game addiction in males is the effect of social norms and gender roles. When the scores they received from the three-dimensional attachment styles scale, the avoidant attachment subscale, and the anxious-ambivalent attachment subscale are examined according to gender, it is seen that the scores of girls are higher than those of boys. This situation suggests that culturally more permissive attitudes are shown in raising boys, and therefore secure attachment scores may be higher in boys. It is evaluated that these results can be explained by the effects of cultural structure and child rearing attitudes. When evaluated at the class level, it was determined that the scores of those in the 7th grade received significantly higher scores than those in the 8th grade. According to the obtained data, it was determined that as digital game addiction increases It was determined that psychological resilience levels decreased, attachment styles significantly predicted digital game addiction, and psychological resilience level significantly predicted digital game addiction.
