Abstract (EN)
II. Mahmud's rule was an important turning point in terms of the modernization of the Ottoman Empire. In the nineteenth century, the first step towards centralization of the state was taken with the abolition was established in this period when improvement efforts were active jurnal clerks were assigned to record all kinds of events and developments occurring in the places where the organization was established on a Daily basis. These clerks provide information about the names and descriptions of the people who came to the sanjaks and accident, where they will go for what purpose all kinds of social and economic event occurring demographic events including the information of born and deceased people extraordinary situations and various court cases they recorded in the registers. This recorded information was sent to the starboard center in weekly or fifteen-day periods and from there it was sent to Istanbul once a month. This archive register has been a type of register that has not been focused on and has been the subject of very little work. For this reason first of all information about the Jurnal Organization and its registers was given in out study. Afterwards, Birgi and Tire jurnal registers recorded by the jurnal clerks in Aydın Sandjak and the records related to Aydın from the summaries in Anatolian Jurnal Register I were determined and evaluations were made regarding the social, cultural, economic and political life of Aydın Sandjak in the 19th century.
