The data of the groups participating in the study were used in the volleyball knowledge test (Erdem et al. in review), volleyball skill test (Gabbett & Georgieff, 2006) and volleyball play performance test (Oslin et al., 1998). In the analysis of the data, descriptive statistics and mixed measures ANOVA test were applied to determine the pretest-posttest, within and between group differences. According to the findings, the volleyball knowledge, skill development and game performances of the students studying volleyball with both teaching models increased significantly compared to the pre-test values level was found to be high.
