Abstract (EN)
The purpose of this research is to analyze the level of shyness of the children during group play therapy sessions. The research is a kind of experimental study. Depending on pre-test, post-test and therapy models. 12 test subjects will be assigned to 8 control groups during the research trial; no test subject is lost during the period of the experimental study. Thus, the sample consists of 20 students among Bizimevler Primary Schools 2nd and 3rd graders. The "Shyness Scale" adapted into our language by Güngör has been used with the aim of gathering data. Pre- test data will be gathered 7 days before the beginning of the study trial and post-test data will be gathered after a 6 week therapy period. The results show that there is a meaningful difference in test subjects before and after group therapy application in aspect of shyness level. It's been confirmed that the shyness level of students having group therapy is higher after group therapy in relation to students having no group therapy. Key Words: Group Playing Therapy, Shyness
