Abstract (EN)

The subject of interjections is one of the least discussed subjects of grammatical issues compared to other parts of speech. Scientists couldn't come to an agreement on the definition of interjections, its scope and place among other parts of speech and how to classify interjections in itself. In our thesis titled "Interjections in Uzbek Turkish", both national and international studies on interjections were discussed. In addition, the definition of interjections, its scope, its place in grammar and its classification in itself have been discussed. By analyzing the interjections taken from the Uzbek Turkish texts, the term interjection has been defined. Also, its scope and properties have been determined. Lastly, as an independent part of speech, interjections have been classified in itself in terms of structure and meaning. The interjections identified have been analyzed in terms of etymology, and they have been compared with the other historical Turkish dialects. By doing so, we have tried to determine when the Uzbek Turkish interjections started to be used and which different phases it has gone through.
