Abstract (EN)

In this research, it is intended to determine privite course teachers' attitudes towards availability of GeoGebra software in mathematics and geometry courses. The research is a qualitative study and analyzed using content analysis. The study sample is composed of 16 math and geometry teachers working in a private course. The subject of the research is whether the usage of GeoGebra is suitable in the privite courses. For this aim five-day seminar for the teachers of mathematics and geometry was applied. In this seminar, dynamic geometry software GeoGebra was briefly introduced, and teachers were invited to organize events with the aid software. During the seminar, interview forms were applied to the teachers at different times. The data was acquired by means of ?Personal Data Form?, ?GeoGebra Event Pre-Assessment Form?, ?GeoGebra Event Post-Assessment Form? and interview forms. All these data were read by the researcher and were analyzed using content analysis. Giving lecture in classes as they deem appropriate in the period, three teachers' views about the course with the help of the software were taken again with audio recording. Written down by listening to audio recordings were analyzed later. It is obtained from the research that the usage of GG did not make a significant difference in the pre-event and post-event evaluation forms applied to the teachers. However, a positive difference in students' attitudes towards mathematics and geometry classes has been identified after a lecture by GG.It is considered that the results gathered from the research shall contribute to the studies to be carried out on the use of GG in maths and geometry learning. Keywords: Dynamic Geometry Software GeoGebra, Maths and Geometry Education, Content Analysis, Private Course.
