Abstract (EN)

In this research, it was aimed to examine the individual innovativeness of media private sector employees and their views on the online education process. This descriptive and cross-sectional study was conducted in relational screening model. The research was conducted with a total of 200 participants working as newspaper editor and page secretary in a private media organization. In order to collect primary data in the study, an online questionnaire including demographic questions, individual innovativeness scale and views on online education scale was used. The obtained data were analyzed using SPSS for Windows v26. Within the scope of the study, frequency analysis, normal distribution analysis, reliability analysis, descriptive analysis and Kruskal-Wallis tests were performed. As a result of the analysis, it was determined that the participants were mostly in the early adopters category. Participants highly agree that distance education is suitable for their personal lives, moderately agree that online education is effective and instructive, and very highly agree that they are inclined to online education. In addition, it was determined that while there were significant differences according to individual innovativeness characteristics in the dimensions of personal suitability, effectiveness and disposition in the views on the online education process, it was determined that the instructional dimension did not differ significantly according to the individual innovativeness characteristics. Accordingly, it was concluded that the participants in higher innovativeness categories think that online education is effective and suitable for their personal lives, and that they are more inclined to online education.
