General Directorate of Land Registry and Cadastre from the viewpoint of privatization and privatization and privatization principles

Privatization, today has an important part on the agenda for most public institutions. The aim of our study is to investigate what gradually widespreading privatization policies are like and to evaluate them from the viewpoint of General Directorate of Land Registry and Cadastre. In the study, historian method and source scanning techniqoe have been grounded on and also experienced institution personnel have been interviewed. It was found out that the privatization act has both positive and negative effects on state budget. The privatization of Directorate of Land Registry and Cadastre tackled in the study, the missions and authorities which have a crucial importance in terms of the safety of the property information of the country and that as a resuit of the privatization, the awkward structure of the instution could be changed was discussed and new alternatives have been put forth by giving examples for the purpose of improving further suggestions. The land registry and cadastre acts of other countries have been assessed as alternative solutions. In order not to harm the respectability and confidence of the institution, the institution should be privatised in the most proper privatization periods.
