A research for adeptation of a Money Making Motivation Scale to Turkish in terms of subjective well-being

Modern people spends nearly all the time it has to money gaining activities or getting rid of the pain that such activities bring to them. These people who continues its daily life feels this process as natural way of life. But different people has different attitudes about money. And these attitudes changes in time. Even if all people has money in their pockets they still have fantastic opinions about it. Nearly all considerable human actions being done for money. In the world that nobody pay and being paid, no one will build skyscrapers or carry people all around the world with aeroplanes. Even states expects from its citizens to pay their responsibilities as currency. But does humans really earn money for their needs? Or why people wants to earn money? Is money brings happiness? All this questions doesn't have a basic answer. People shows different money behavior and motivations from each other or themselves in different times. Different scientific tools were being develeped in time to measure these differences. This research is adaptation of a measure to Turkish which can be used to understand money attitudes better. Measure that being developed by Srivastava et al.(2001), measures money making motivations of people meanwhile considering their level of happiness. With the adaptation of Srivastava et al.'s (2001) measure of money making motivations and Diener et al.'s subjective well-being measure to Turkish, Turkish literature has gained measure to efficiently measure money making motivations.
