Abstract (EN)

The equilibrium sorption isotherms of three reactive dyes (C /. Reactive Red 141, C. I. Reactive Blue J 60 ve C. I. Reactive Yellow Yellow 84) were investigated at three different temprature and pH levels and the primary, secondary, and tertiary mixtures of these dyes were applied on pure cotton cloth. When same dye concentration and salt (NaCl) used, it was reported that the secondary and tertiary mixtures of these reactive dyes had lower sorption values than did the primary mixtures. The isotherms obtained were observed to comply with the Langmuir type. Various sitatistics regarding these isotherms were calculated to infer statistical conclusions. The rate parameters of adsorption kinetics were determined. These velocity parameters had a tendency to decline as the dye concentration increased in value. The desorption rate parameter was observed to be independent of the dye concentration used. The data obtained from adsorption thermodynamics demonstrated that the adsorption is a self motivating, exothermic phenomenon and decreasing temperature values for the dye molecules to be fixed on fiber in a more homogeneous manner.
