The effect of air cargo transportation on corporate customer satisfaction during the pandemic period: Konya case

The Covid-19 epidemic, which emerged in China in 2019 and caused a pandemic to be declared all over the world in 2020, directly affected the aviation industry. The air transportation sector, which stands out with the speed factor among the transportation types, has started to suffer with the cancellation of passenger flights around the world. Afterwards, the air cargo sector, which plays an important role in international trade, was negatively affected by the epidemic as cargo flights started to operate with certain routes. During the epidemic process, many measures have been taken to minimize negative effects. As all sectors kept pace with the process, companies providing air cargo services also tried to continue their activities in the process by developing new strategies. In this process, companies providing air cargo services continue their services to ensure that their customers are satisfied with the service they receive by being minimally affected by the process and to maintain this satisfaction. In this study, it is aimed to measure the satisfaction levels of corporate customers who receive air cargo service during the Covid-19 (Coronavirus) epidemic. The Customer Value Scale was used to measure customer satisfaction. Data were collected from the logistics authorities of medium and large-scale production and export companies operating in Konya Organized Industrial Zone by face-to-face and online survey method.
