The attitudes of teachers working in secondary schools during the pandemic process towards distance education: The case of Osmaniye

In this study, it was aimed to determine teachers attitudes towards distance education so that the support provided by the branch teachers working in secondary schools under the Ministry of National Education in the process of the Covid-19 global pandemic for the education of students during the continuation of their current programs can be more qualified. In the research, which is a quantitative study,was used descriptive survey model. The sample of the study was chosen from the branch teachers working in secondary schools in the 2020-2021 academic year in the province of Osmaniye; An online questionnaire prepared by Google form was used. As a result of the survey, data were collected from 345 (167 females , 178 males ) branch teachers in 2020. The survey data were gathered through the "Attitude Scale Towards Distance Education" developed by Ağır (2007). The sub-dimensions of the scale are determined as "advantages of distance education" and "limitations of distance education". The data obtained from the participants were analyzed through SPSS 22.0 statistical interpretation program and statistical techniques were used. According to the research findings, a statistically significant result was obtained by performing the, Levene's test, T-test, frequency, Anova test , Post Hock LSD test and normality tests.
