Abstract (EN)

In this thesis, poly(3,4-Ethylenedioxythiophene) PEDOT was chemically synthesized. The synthesis of graphene oxide (GO) was obtained from graphite using modified Hummers method. GO was transformed reduced graphene oxide (rGO) using microwave-assisted method. Afterwards, binary, ternary (rGO/PEDOT/Active carbon (AC)) and qaternary nanocomposites of rGO, PEDOT, active carbon and metal oxides (Fe2O3 and RuO2) were synthesized. Poly(3,4-Ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT) will be obtained by 3,4-Ethylenedioxythiophene (EDOT) polymerization method. The characterizations of the synthesized materials were carried out by X-ray crystallography (XRD), scanning electron microscopy- energy dispersive X-ray (SEM-EDX), Fourier Transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR-ATR), and solid state conductivity. Electrochemical performance tests (cyclic voltammetry (CV), galvanostatic charge/discharge (GCD) and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EES) measurements were performed by doing supercapacitor devices by making slurry on stainless steel (SS) electrodes and applying them at micron level with the Dr. Blade device. Stability tests (1000 cycles) were carried out by the CV method with a scan rate of 100 mV/s and 1 M H2SO4 solution.
