The decision to select the most appropriate personnel is a process faced by every business operating in different sectors. In this decision process, every business wants to hire the most suitable candidate. Afterwards, it makes the career planning of the employee, measures their motivation, satisfaction and performance. For this reason, in the process of hiring the most suitable candidate, businesses try to make the best decision by considering many factors. Personnel selection process, which is included in multi-criteria decision-making problems, is a decision problem that includes more than one criterion. In the application part of the thesis, a bank's senior software developer selection problem was evaluated for three main criteria, 13 sub-criteria and 5 candidates. The Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHS) method, which is one of the multi-criteria decision-making methods and frequently used in calculating the criteria weights, was used in calculating the relative weights of the criteria. According to these calculated weights, TOPSIS method was used in the evaluation of the alternatives and in the selection of the most suitable candidate.
