Abstract (EN)
Wave energy is one of the renewable energy sources that has various examples and is becoming widespread around the world. The effect of the change of wave height and wave period on electricity generation was studied with the buoyant system established using the kinetic energy of the sea wave. Piezoelectric materials were used as electricity generators in the project. The kinetic energy generated by the oscillating motion of the float has been converted to electrical energy through piezoelectrics. The resulting electrical energy was tested in a 10-hour period in a real marine environment with voltage, current and power readers generated by arduino uno. Using the data obtained with Arduino uno, the yield of the piezoelectric materials used for wave energy and the return of this system as a unit cost were calculated.
