Abstract (EN)
Masterclasses are considered important by educators and students in professional music education. Education is a system with its inputs, processes and outputs. Educators and students also express the fact that valuing the studies supporting this system will positively affect all the stakeholders involved and increase the quality of the system, and that more Masterclasses will be held in the future. Masterclasses are forums open to everyone, in which each active and passive participant is personally involved, where they can make observations, and where they are in dialogue with each other with suggestions and questions. In this study, piano history, ecoles in music and piano history, differences between schools, Masterclasses were examined, the reasons for future artists trained by good and qualified educators to enter this system were tried to be learned, the approach of the "expert-artists" in the system was tried to be understood, the effects of ecoles and schools of thought were tried to be understood. The research is limited to three piano educators who are graduates of the State Conservatory, trained in different ecoles, a piano student who receives proficiency in art, a piano sonata of Beethoven and available resources since 2020 is the year of Beethoven. In the qualitative study based on the scanning model, the data were collected according to structured interview, content analysis and observation techniques and analyzed according to qualitative analysis techniques, and suggestions were made by interpreting the findings. It is thought that the research is original, will contribute to the field in terms of revealing ecole and school differences, and will be a source for future studies since it is the first study on Piano Masterclasses.
