Abstract (EN)
Every project in our country and in the world is known as a set of activities with specific start and end times. Although the project differs in every area, it will be possible to obtain information on how to proceed by making use of previous projects and archives in terms of operation in project management. One of the approaches foreseen and adopted by the enterprises that want to improve their operations is Kaizen Systematic, Total Quality Method, 5S Systematic and Six Sigma systematic, which is based on continuous improvement in every field with the participation of management and all employees, even if there is no problem. Continuous Improvement aims to improve problem-solving tools for the identification of problems and solution suggestions with the full participation of employees, with a process-oriented view. By applying the Continuous Improvement Systematic, in the projects containing the previous similarity, it facilitates the process by managing the stages of project management, project management components, scope, time, quality, human resources, communication, risk, procurement, stakeholder management and project manager's management. Considering all these, the purpose of this study is to examine the perceptions of project managers about the possible effects of Continuous Improvement on project management processes. In this study, qualitative research design was used and data were collected through an open-ended question form. The participants of the study are people working as project managers in Turkey. The obtained data were analyzed by content analysis method. Considering that the Continuous Improvement methodology has not been adequately researched in project management, this study also aims to fill the relevant gap in the literature.
