Abstract (EN)

In this study, the relationship between psychological well-being and spiritual orientation of university students was investigated in the framework of the basic questions determined in this study. The sample of the study consisted of students studying in Gaziantep. 404 students from different universities participated in the study. The gender characteristics of the students were 200 females and 204 males. In this study, demographic information form, Psychological well-being scale, BAPİNT Addiction Profile Index Internet Addiction Form Spiritual orientation scale was used. The normality of the distribution was evaluated through descriptive statistics and normality tests. The relationships between internet addiction, psychological well-being and spiritual orientation were examined with Pearson Moments Multiplication Correlation. The regression model, in which the internet dependence is predicted, was included in the demographic variable gender before psychological well-being and spiritual orientation. Hierarchical regression analysis was performed by adding gender psychological well-being and spiritual orientation variables to the model, taking into account the simple correlations between the variables. In the study, the level of significance is based on. Data were analyzed with SPSS 22.0 program. According to the findings of the study; There is a positive relationship between psychological well-being and spiritual orientation. A negative correlation was found between the level of psychological well-being and internet addiction. There was no significant correlation between spiritual orientation and internet addiction. According to these results; It can be said that as the level of psychological well-being increases, internet addiction decreases.
