Abstract (EN)

Kaplan B, correlation of CT-1, ADMA and hsCRP levels with Pulse Wave rate and Clinical parameters in patients with Psoriasis Namık Kemal University Institute of Health Sciences Graduate Thesis, Department of cardiovascular Physiology, Tekirdağ, 2022. Psoriasis is a common chronic inflammatory disease in the skin with sharply limited, erythemed papules and plaques, with lesions characterized by a pearl-white color. Comorbidities can occur as a result of the disease's histopathological changes and the changes caused by chronic inflammation. Activation of T cells appears to lead to arterial endothelial activation by the release of inflammatory substances. The purpose of our study was to evaluate the relationship between the biopsy group of patients without cardiovascular risk factors and the healthy control group between the CT-1, ADMA and hsCRP values of the subjects, pulse wave rate and physical levels in daily life. In our study, 38 patient groups and 32 healthy control groups who applied to Dermatology outpatient clinic at Tekirdağ Namık Kemal University Hospital were included. Our study was divided into two groups as patient and healthy control. There was a significant difference in age, CT-1 and hsCRP levels between the patient and control groups. (P < 0.001, P = 0.000, P < 0.014, P = 0.000)a larger number of patients is needed for better results. We think these values will lead clinically in predicting cardiovascular risk
