Abstract (EN)
The amount of ambient radiation dose was measured by TLD-100 dosimeter at 2 different points outside the door and control room in radiotherapy unit. Measurements were repeated for 5 working days for each treatment unit. In addition, 2 additional TLD-100 dosimeters were placed at the same points for detection of the total leakage radiation dose for 5 working days. Three TLD-100 dosimeters were used to measure at the same point. Measurement results were determined as the average dose. Weekly measurements were repeated for a total of 4 weeks for each treatment unit. Leak radiation dose measurements were performed in 5 different centers. TLD-100 dosimeters were kept in doors and control rooms for 7 hours daily. According to the NCRP-151 and IAEA-SRS 47 reports, theoretical armor calculations were made for the linear accelerator devices, and as a result of these calculations, the amount of ambient radiation was determined based on dose limit determined by IAEA which is 1 mSv for public and 20 mSv for personnel.
