Abstract (EN)
In this study The Government of Algeria Ministry of Transportation General Directorate of State Railways (ANESRİF) which was started by the end of 2011 between the cities of Alger and Chlef, Ramdane Tunnel construction of double railway which was conducted by ANESRIF have examined from the perspective of engineering geology. Tunneling methods applied in Ramdane Tunnel have examined, how to support the tunnel afterward excavation operations, application of the used support elements their amounts has been examined. After the excavation and support phases, the problems that occurred in weak rock zones were examined and interpreted by numerical modeling analysis. Problems during in the tunnel construction works, deformations that occur in tunnel crust and the methodology and methodology used to fix them have been examined.
