Abstract (EN)

The aim of the study was to determine the effect of cinnamon oil addition to ration on rumen degradability parameters of some organic and conventional feeds by using nylon bag technique. In the study, rumen degradability of dry matter (DM), organic matter (OM), starch (ST) and crude protein (CP) contents, degradability parameters and effective degradability and effective degradability of starch (EDST) and undegradable starch (UDST), effective degradability of crude protein (ERDP) and undegradable crude protein (UDP) amounts of organic and conventional forms of energy source of maize and wheat and protein source of soybean meal and red lentil were determined by using nylon bag technique according to the 4, 8, 16, 24 and 48 hours incubation periods with and without addition of cinnamon oil to the ration. As a result of this study, the differences between the treatment groups in terms of the DM degradability of maize at 48 h, wheat at 4, 8, 16, 24, 48 h and soybean meal at 8, 16, 24, 48 h incubation period; potential degradability of DM (A + B) of maize, degraded DM (B) and A + B by rumen microorganisms of wheat, parameters B, A + B and c of soybean meal and effective DM degradability of wheat and soybean meal at 0.02 h-1, 0.05 h-1 and 0.08 h-1 rumen of rumen outflow rates were found to be significant (P<0.05). The significant differences were found between the treatment groups in terms of the OM degradability of wheat and soybean meal at 4, 8, 16, 24, 48 h incubation periods; the B and A+B parameters of wheat and B, A+B and c parameters of soybean meal; effective OM degradability of wheat and soybean meal according to the 0.02 h-1, 0.05 h-1 and 0.08 h-1 of rumen outflow rates (P<0.05). The significant differences were found between the treatment groups in terms of ST degradability of maize at 4 h and wheat at 4, 8, 16, 24 48 h incubation period; B, A+B and c parameters of ST degradability of wheat; effective ST degradability of maize and wheat according to the 0.02 h-1, 0.05 h-1 and 0.08 h-1 of rumen outflow rates (P<0.05). The significant differences were found between the treatment groups in terms of CP degradability of soybean meal at 4, 8 and 48 h and CP degradability of red lentil at 4 and 8 h; CP degradability of B, A+B and c parameters of red lentil; effective CP degradability of soybean meal according to the 0.02 h-1, 0.05 h-1 and 0.08 h-1 of rumen outflow rates (P<0.05).
