Servis delay analysis in rail systems

Railway infrastructure, superstructure design and construction are among the most important issues of the railway industry. As the dynamic loads transmitted to the infrastructure increase with the increase in speed, permanent displacements and deformations on the road have caused deterioration in the vertical and horizontal geometry of the road, thus increasing the effects on the road and vehicles, causing a decrease in comfort and safety values. For this reason, it is necessary to determine the necessary infrastructure and superstructure features in the areas where the railways will be built, and to create a structure that can provide economic service for a long time. In this study, the number of passengers carried by Ankara M1-M2-M3-M4 metro lines on the basis of years and months until the end of 1998-2021 and the total number of flights tables were compared and the 2020-2021 M1-M2-M3-M4 metro lines were calculated as a result of the data obtained on the basis of months, the total number of boarding passengers and the total earnings in the years 2020 and 2021. The works to be done and the measures to be taken for the railway superstructure and infrastructure have been included. While presenting the study, information was given about the effects on the superstructure and the components that make up the superstructure, the base ground on which the infrastructure will be built and the use of railways in our country today. As a result of all these studies, the Two-Way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) method was used to analyze the service delay in rail systems. Excel and Word software were used in this thesis. The data obtained in the research were tried to be transferred with tables, graphics and figures. The obtained data were compared.
