Abstract (EN)

Research has shown that employees who feel supported by their organization are more engaged in their work. However, several studies have focused on the value of this support in organizations. The objective of this research was to identify the con-nection between perceived organizational support and work engagement. On one hand, the author looked at the components of this relationship, such as support from supervisors and coworkers. On the other hand, they examined how this relationship affected the commitment, performance, and job satisfaction of employees. Employ-ees from two companies (one private and one public) were given access to an online survey. Then, their direct supervisors assessed their performance. In total, 73 supervi-sors and 140 employees took part in the study. Our findings showed that perceived organizational support has a beneficial impact on work engagement, and this holds even when considering two other types of support (support from supervisors and support from coworkers). The conclusion of this study specifies that organizations will have to take into consideration support in the workplace, which is initially an essential element that employees often require. Furthermore, it allows for the im-provement of productivity. Keywords: Perceived Organizational Support, Work Engagement, Perceived Super-visor Support, and Perceived Coworker Support.
