Abstract (EN)
Covid sickness 19 "(COVID-19)" is a severe and dangerous breathing disorder aimed at which the etiologic special is the clever beta Covid SARS-CoV-2portrayed in ultimate 2019 in China. Iron (Fe) is a fundamental part of hemoglobin and myoglobin and accordingly works with the vehicle, temporary tissue stockpiling, and cell utilization of oxygen. It additionally plays significant parts in cytochromes inside mitochondria, interceding the alternate regarding electrons in the electron put band. Hepcidin is one of the peptide chemicals found in the liver that switches iron balance. It was primitive disengaged in 2000 from humane blood filtering as liver-determined cysteinerich peptide by antimicrobieal movement; subsequently, it named liver-communicated antimcrobial peptide1 (LEAP-1). It regulates levels of iron flow from cells to the main bloodstream and is considered one of the very important things that balance iron in the human body. Hepcidin is involved in oligohydramnios by inhibit iron export from macrophage due to uptake and dispersal of ferroportin. It may cause activation of macrophages to mimic the hyperproteinemia-associated autophagy syndrome and is involved in greater proportions in the storms cytokine. Function iron deficeincy in turn, a main determine of inflammatory anemai, and may alter the oxygein-sensing function besides function of lymphocytes. Therefore, thos mechanism may be involved in the severity of the disease. Hypoviralemia has been reliably report in stark COVID-19, and can play important roles as a contributory component of clinical course catabolism. The upkeep of body iron homeostasis requires instruments for the control of iron take-up and activation from stores, to address erythropoietic issues, and for rummaging recently utilized iron. Hence, the correspondence between these cells that consume cells and iron that secure and store iron should be firmly controlled. Late examinations demonstrate that it is the liver delivered peptide chemical hepcidin that assumes this significant part in this guideline of foundational iron homeostases by coordinating these gastrointestinal retention and macrophages arrival iron by means of the exporter soles iron ferroportin. The aim of proposed resaerch is to investigate the relationship of serum hepciden level and iron over load with COVID19 Iraqi patients. For this purpose, 50 COVID19 patients with iron over load (Group 1), 50 COVID19 patients with no iron over load (Group 2), 25 non COVID19 patients with iron over load (Group 3) and 25 healthy controls (Group 4) were selected and the level of hepcidin and Fe were evaluated in these patients. The obtained results in this research show that: There is a differenc between the four group in terms of iron coefficients (P = 0.0001 **) so that patients with COVID19 with iron overload and with no iron overload, have significantly lower Fe levels compared to non COVID19 and healthy subjects. Also, there is a signifiecant differenc (analysis of variance) between the four group in terms of hepcidin parameter (P = 0.0001 **).
