This thesisin his work the aim is to determine how the techniques and materials influenced by the place, importance and existence of the Arts & Crafts Movement in today's art are used in today's art by evaluating the examples of contemporary artists and the researcher's work. The scope of the study is to examine and exemplify the Arts & Crafts Movement through the art of painting within the scope of the research. The importance of the study is to determine the extent to which handicraft, ie, craft works, are used in today's art of the Arts & Crafts Movement, and to analyze how long the works are used and how long their existence is maintained. The limitations of the study are that the Arts & Crafts Movement is examined through the embroidery and decoration techniques used by the researcher within itself and with its evaluations in today's art. When we examine the layers of art, society and culture from the past to the present, we see that these three basic phenomena develop and change shape by melting into each other. While these deformations sometimes take the form of small evolutions, sometimes they have transformed into brand new structures with revolutionary breaks. The new paradigm of the industrial revolution is one of the most important dynamics that has caused radical changes in all three areas. A new era has entered in which art, society and culture can no longer be as before, both in their own private spheres and in their interactions with each other. Art of this great transformation; It tried to resist with the Arts & Crafts movement, which was shaped as a reaction to the industrial products taking the place of the craft. The basic discourse of the Arts & Crafts movement in the historical process has been to separate the art-related productions produced with the idea of the union of arts and crafts from the mass-produced products of the industry and to highlight the craft. The effects of the craft in the historical process on the prominence of the craft and how it came to be from the role of art in the history of art to contemporary art reveals the issue of where the craft on contemporary art is by transferring many ideas, assumptions and examples to the audience. Although industrial production objects are in contradiction with the Arts & Crafts Movement in terms of usage, many traditional methods and new techniques are combined in today's art, which is examined and revealed within the scope of this research, and they are transformed into a situation that the high class and the public can use. The works in which craft is used together in artistic creation are evaluated with the researches of contemporary art in line with this orientation, and the whole content is limited to the expressions of the artists in the artistic direction.
