Abstract (EN)

There are different religious sects as in the all religious. One of them is Shafi doctrine and it is one of the leading sects of Islam and it was founded by Ebû Abdillâh Muhammed b. İdris known as Imam Shafi. Coming up with an idea Imam Shafi, who was born in 150 A.H, founded the first basics of Shafii, doctrine by combining Maliki and Hanafi Doctrine. When Shafi went to the Cairo in 199 A.H. he abandoned his previous ideas and tried to found a new formation. As known Mezheb-i Cedid in the source books, this new formation completed its creation phase within four years with the help of devoted works of his student in Egypt. Among Shafii's students Muzeni's works have a special importance. In this study we are going to explain the role of Muzeni in the formaiton of Shafii doctrine. Our study consist of an introduction part, two other parts and a conclusion part. In the introduction part it was given technical information like topic, method and aim of the study. In the first part of we mentioned about the study Muzeni's life, his educational life, his teachers and students. In the second part it was mentioned about the role of Muzeni in the formation of Shafii doctrine. Also in the conclusion part a general evaluation was made about the topic.
