A thesi̇s on the poems of sagi̇y ji̇yenbay

In this thesis, The poems sung by many artists of Sagiy Jiyenbay, one of the lyric poets of XXth century Kazakh literature, were studied. Jiyenbay, who witnessed the death of his father by Russian soldiers and the negative effects of World War II on the peasants when he was a child; he reflected these negativities in his poems to a great extent in a romantic style. İn this study, poet's poems selected from Altın Qalam and Baq Qusı boks are examined in terms of language and style and it is seen that poet reflects elements of "Turkish Folk Literature" tradition with great skill in his poems. İn this study; the analysis method used by Nergis Biray and Hülya Kasapoğlu, which gives important Works of the Turkish world, was taken as the basis. Thesis respectively; "Kazakh Literature, Jiyenbay's Life and Works, Jiyenbay's Poetry Content, Jiyenbay's Poems Language and Style are discussed.
