Data were collected by electronic questionnaire method and statistical analysis was performed. The results are summarized as frequency tables, hypothesis tests, correlation, regression and moderator effect analysis. As a result of the study, in terms of both psychological contract breach perception and job satisfaction, no statistically significant difference was found between the groups according to gender, marital status and type of university. Statistically significant differences were found between the groups in terms of both psychological contract breach perception and job satisfaction in regard to age, title, academic year and working time at the current university. According to the correlation analysis, the relationships between psychological contract breach perception and job satisfaction in all dimensions are negative and statistically significant. According to the results of the regression analysis, relational breach seemed to be more effective on job satisfaction dimensions. Among the demographic characteristics, only the moderator role of the university type was found to be statistically significant. According to the findings, various suggestions were given to managers, researchers and authorities.
