Abstract (EN)

The burnout implies a concept frequently used to define individuals? situation in which they are, working on the businesses related with people. The burnout is important since it negatively affects being successful of the working individuals and causes problems in their social life and it decreases the contribution of them to their professions and the environment through reducing the performance of the individuals who realize the burnout. Health services as one of the careers dealing with people, comprises another group of profession being under the risk in terms of the burnout. The probability of living burnout of people working in health sector increases because of the increasing sense of responsibility of the health professionals depending on the factors of having intense emotional process in health services, being in contact and communication with people consistently, rapid change of professional life, increasing individual and organizational expectancies, being living individuals of which have been served. As a result of this study that has been started to identify the burnout level of the health professionals working at the Mouth and Dental Health Center, to determine how some variables affect the burnout level, it has been seen that educational level, worked unit, work load, income level, work done affect the burnout level and who have undergraduate and graduate education, who work on polyclinic, whose years of office are 15 years and more, whose work loads are heavy, and who consider their income level insufficient emotional burnout have been realized more on health professionals working at Denizli Mouth and Dental Health Center. Dentists realize more emotional burnout and insensitivity than nurses. Burnout is low and at normal levels for nurses and technicians of dental prosthesis. Sex, marital status, number of children, working hours, reasons of occupational choice are the variables that does not affect the burnout level.
