The effect of personality traits of health employees on the job satisfaction and organizational commitment

Abstract (EN)

In this study, the relationship between the personality traits of health workers and job satisfaction and organizational commitment levels was investigated. In this context, two hundred twelve health personnel were surveyed. The questionnaires were analyzed in SPSS software. According to the data obtained from the analysis, it was found that job satisfaction and organizational commitment of the health care workers with high emotional balance personality trait were found to be low. It was determined that the compatibility personality trait of women were higher than men. According to the results of the analysis, personality characteristics, job satisfaction and organizational commitment did not show statistically significant differences according to age. It was determined that the extraversion personality trait is higher among daytime than the ones working only day shifts. According to the results of the analysis, job satisfaction and organizational commitment did not show statistical difference according to way of working. It has been determined that the level of job satisfaction of the employees is higher among those who are working for less than a year. It has been determined that the compatibility characteristics of the employees who are working for 6-10 years are higher than the other employees. Organizational commitment did not show a statistically significant difference according to the working time in the institution. According to the data obtained, personality traits, job satisfaction and organizational commitment did not show a statistically significant difference according to the total working time.
