Problems and violence encountered in health services, solution offers and white code practice

Like in every realm of daily life, practice of violence is also encountered in health sector at serious levels. Violence mostly happens during ambulance services in health sector. It is known that violence in health sector poses danger to employees' health and safety, decreases service quality and increases corporation expenses. Some studies are being carried out with an aim to alleviate the results. When the technical literature is reviewed, it is interesting that there are so few researches and practices aiming at minimalizing violence against 112 and ambulance staff. For this reason, this study involves studies and suggestions in this matter. Since it is a theoretical study, it has been carried out based on annalistic method. When compared to the other health personnel, the difficulties that the ambulance personnel who work outside open to violence and other dangers, are having must not be disregarded. Every employee, while performing his/her work, has the right to feel secure and peaceful. It is of great importance that like all the health personnel, the 112 personnel should be protected by the corporations and the government against violence which is totally in contradiction with the human dignity. The White Code practise is an exemplary practice that has been put into place to that end. It is very important that all health personnel are be encouraged to report violence and White Code practice is generalized.
