The concept of health city is a phenomenon that was born as a result of this awareness and first emerged with the healthy cities project by the World Health Organization (WHO). The work on the Healthy Cities Project in Turkey started in 1993. WHO continues to work with the member municipalities of the European Healthy Cities Network and the Healthy Cities Association of the Republic of Turkey. The Healthy Cities Association gained legal personality with the Official Gazette on December 22, 2004 in order to develop, adopt and implement the "Healthy Cities" movement in Turkey. In this study, after examining the historical development of the healthy city concept and healthy city practices in Turkey, healthy city service quality will be analyzed in the light of the projects carried out by Sarıyer Municipality within a healthy and sustainable city management strategy.
