Abstract (EN)
This research was made to investigate the importance of conceptual art in art education given in the major disciplines of Educational Faculties. Major Disciplines of Art Education in art Departments of Educational Faculties in Turkey constitute the sphere, Major Discipline of Art Education of the Faculty of Education in Diyarbakır Dicle University, the sampling of the research. Besides making a wide range of literature scanning to draw the conceptual frame, The teaching specialists in Diyarbakır Dicle University were interviewed for their views of the subject . The interviews were examined and common views of the teaching specialists on the relation between conceptual art and art teaching was detected. It was drawn out through negotiations that ?The place of conceptual art in our art teaching is important and that conceptual art education be realised in art teaching?
